The Mums Business Directory have just launched a fantastic affiliate program which not only earns you some money if people join the directory after clicking on your link, but is also an excellent site which provides lots of information and contact details for business owners and mums.
With the new affiliate scheme, just five Bronze referrals will generate enough revenue to cover the cost of a Bronze business listing on the site for one year, currently priced at £10.
Display badges, text links and creatives are all available to members on the Mums Business Directory site together with further details about the Affiliate Programme and online instructions. Affiliate links can also be included in emails and posted on Twitter and Facebook.
The directory’s creator Emma Burford says: “The whole concept of creating the Mums Business Directory was to support mums in business and highlight the many fantastic websites out there under one roof so they can easily be found.
“I’m launching the Affiliate Programme to reward Mums Business Directory members who choose to advertise the directory through banners and links on their sites. It will help them to earn a passive income to support their business while promoting the directory at the same time.”
The Mums Business Directory is a rapidly growing resource for mums and business owners alike, giving them the opportunity to promote their products and services online and connect with others for support and advice. The site currently has over 500 members from across the UK covering all main business sectors.
Who doesn’t? Well there are lots of scams on the internet trying to actually get money out of you and then giving you nothing in return. But I have found some fantastic ecourses and sites that do deliver what they promise and cost nothing, yes nothing!
The first is Become a Mumpreneur. A fantastic site that has an excellent ecourse that gives you ideas on how to start a business. And I will just say that although it is aimed at mumpreneurs, anyone can join and use this beneficial course.
The second is Make More Money Online. This is a new one and gives you ideas on how to actually start making money online. Another free ecourse that is delivered straight to your inbox, ready for you to use and take action when you have the time.
The third is Ace Online Blogging. Blogging is a must for generating more business and a great way for anyone to earn some extra money is done right. This is yet another free ecourse and will cover everything you need to know about blogging be it for personal or business use.
I have taken all three of these courses and they are excellent, giving you the right amount of information you need to get you started. If you are looking at starting a business or earning some extra money online, please do go and check them out.
Well there is any easy fix for this and it is introducing a blog to your site. But why a blog and what do I write?
Well a blog is now an essential part of any business who wants to attract as many customers as they can and who doesn’t. This is because a blog is updated regularly with relevent information to what the business is about. The blog posts will contain key words that search engines will pick up and then send traffic through to your site.
Blogging is easy once you know how. It is essential that you use a business blog purely for business and not to put personal stories on their. You can start a personal blog for that and this is another way to link into your business and also let the people who want to know a bit more about you as a person.
What you write on your business blog will depend entirely on what your business niche is. For example, if you run a baking company you could talk about up coming events, share recipes and display your creations. There are lots of things you can include in a business blog and it is essential that you are using key words, such as baking, cakes and baking in (wherever you are based) so the search engines can find you.
Alternatively if you are struggling to manage a blog as well as your site and business there are many professional business bloggers out there. I also offer this service. Please pop over to my services page to see more or contact me through the contact page.
